Cheryl & Chris | Wedding | Putney, London

I had the pleasure of travelling down to London a couple of weeks ago (actually, on my own wedding anniversary) to hang out with Cheryl, Chris and their family and friends, to celebrate their (long overdue) wedding. They have been together for a whopping 17 years and so there were a great many jokes during the speeches about how long it had taken them.

We started out at home, where Cheryl was getting ready while others around her were finishing off little bits and pieces for the reception. The ceremony was in the very beautiful St Mary Magdalene Church, on the edge of Wandsworth Common and the reception was held at the London Rowing Club in Putney ... a short London bus ride away !

A few favourites.

Beautiful colour scheme

We are not amused

Yet another pair of gorgeous shoes ... indulge me !

This sign made me chuckle

Gotta make sure we look good for the photos ...

Very pretty bridesmaids

Ceremony time

Mr & Mrs

That bus !

All the kids had little "official photographer" badges and were equipped with cameras

The Rowing Club ... and the view out over the Thames

Check out those eyes !!

Super fun speeches

Thanks for having me, guys, it was a lot of fun ! Hope you enjoy the next 17 years as much as the first :)

  5. Hi Gill,

I LOVE this wedding - the photographs just scream of a fabulous day; I adore the Brides dress (someone please tell me where its from?), and all the little features, but espesh the children's sparkly capes (my daughter has one!).
Just fabulous - well done for capturing the emotion and fun of the day so beautifully,
    Annabel x
