Headshots !

I'm here, honestly, I am !!! :)

I've been pretty busy this past week, so I'll be blogging some over the next few days !

I had the pleasure of shooting some headshots for a web company in Stafford, RapidWeb, who are currently designing a fab new website for a local firm of accountants, Cheadle Accounts (check back soon for the newly designed site and, of course, the photos from the shoot).

In the meantime, here are the staff ... we had a lot of fun !!

Last, but by no means least, the boss !!

Some working shots around the office ...

And, of course, no shoot in town would be complete without a mooch round to ...

SEO at the NEC !

I booked to go on an SEO course last Friday with Matt, who stayed with us a few days ... I need to get my web stats and hits sorted so you can all find me easier ! So I was very pleased to be asked to cover the event by the MD of the company (Monkey House Design), Marc Summers.

I learned so much from the day, realised so many things I am currently doing wrong, but actually pleased to note that I was doing some things right !!!

I am not going to go into any detail here, you will need to check out a seminar for yourselves (highly recommended, by the way) but here are a few photos from the day ...

Just James ...

I got a call a few weeks ago from my friend, James, who has recently started up his own SAP consultancy business, asking if I could call on some of my old skills and help him with a current project. James and I go back a long way, so how could I refuse. We spent day 1 going through the project, bringing back old memories from my SAP days (ergh) so today when James asked "could you take a photo of me for the upcoming conference (he is the keynote speaker) I ran upstairs and grabbed my camera !! Relief, shooting instead of corporate-ing (LOL)

The first, a headshot, is more suited to the corporate feel (although the conference shot was a little too boring for here haha)

... but after a shower and shave, I managed to talk James into a more relaxed pose (did I mention he doesn't really like having his photo taken?)

Just shooting these has made me realise I want to do more personal work, shooting my friends and their families, and of course my family too ... honestly, it's not as if I don't have a camera !
