Wedding Day for Amy & Dale
Last weekend I had the privilege of shooting the wedding of Amy & Dale ... or Boris, as his friends call him ! The day started out at their home with the girls all getting ready - not exactly chaos, just lots of them LOL A bride, 6 bridesmaids, a flower girl, mum and me, all squeezed into the lounge ! What fun :) Amy wasn't nervous in the slightest and could not wait to get her beautiful dress on and get married !
Acton Trussell church was the setting for the ceremony, a beautiful little church nestled in the Staffordshire countryside. Dale and his best man and ushers were there when I arrived - forgot to mention they are all rugby players and a lot of fun. They decided to do an impromptu All Black's "haka" (for those who don't follow rugby, that's the dance they do before every game !) with hilarious results. Then followed some hip flask bashing before heading in to wait nervously for Amy to arrive.
The ceremony was beautiful and you could really feel the love between Amy & Dale. We stayed behind after all the guests had left for the marquee back at their home to get some shots in private, as well as some cool shots with their old VW Beetle, complete with Just Married sign and tin cans (a la Dale!)
As always, a few faves from the day - wishing you love and happiness always, guys ! Thanks for having me, it was a blast !
